Top notes are Lavender, Lemon, Bergamot, Mint, Rosemary, Lemon Verbena, Basil and Artemisia; middle notes are Juniper, Coriander, Cinnamon, Wormwood, Carnation, Angelica and Jasmine; base notes are Oakmoss, Leather, Fir, Pine Tree Needles, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Patchouli, Cedar, Amber and resins. The Drakkar Noir man embodies strength, insolence and emotion. A powerful scent and an explosive blend featuring stimulating herbs which play with a warm spices ending on a powerful woody base. Mr. Guy Laroche was born in the Atlantic Port of La Rochelle, in the western part of France in 1921. Although he left school when he was young, his ultimate talent on style and fashion empowered him to seek joyful self-training and self- interest.
At the age 15, he sold his printed drawings to Yves Saint Laurent, and had proved his fashion design talent. While at the age 18, Guy Laroche became the assistant of Jean Desses, a very famous French designer back then.
