An exotic fragrance for the strong and modern Jimmy Choo woman. A sensual fruity chypre with top notes of pear and sweet Italian orange, heart notes of tiger orchid and bottom notes of toffee and Indonesian patchouli.

The most popular brand of luxury shoes and fashion accessories, Jimmy Choo, launches its first fragrance, simply named Jimmy Choo.
Jimmy Choo fragrance, described as “feminine yet empowering, with a lot of sensuality to it”, was developed in cooperation with Inter Parfums and the famous perfumer from IFF Olivier Polge. The seductive composition is a modern chypre fruity, with green top notes, tiger orchid, sweet toffee caramel and Indonesian patchouli.

The packaging and the textured glass bottle is designed by Mellon herself. She was inspired by Murano glass and devoted so much attention to the appearance, so that it would be desirable and appropriate for your nightstand. Mellon is also the face of the campaign shot with photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

About Us

Jimmy Choo is a leading global luxury brand with an empowered sense of glamour and a playfully daring spirit.

The brand traces its roots to a bespoke shoemaker named Jimmy Choo, based in the East End of London in the early 1990s, who catered to the global jet set, including Princess Diana. The Jimmy Choo company was founded in 1996, with Mr Choo’s niece, Sandra Choi, who had been heading up design in the East End atelier, coming on board as Creative Director, a position she holds to this day. Mr Choo departed the company in 2001.

ALL PERFUMES ARE FAR FROM EQUAL

We offer NZ’s best prices for a discerning market. Enjoy prices that are a cut above bargain basement and well below department stores. Our fragrances are the genuine article, but it is the integrity or quality of the perfume that matters. There are many reasons why perfumes spoil, often well before they are purchased by the consumer. Heat is the biggest culprit (that we term baked, like wine).

FROM WHOLESALER TO RETAILER

Many perfume discounters use sea freight for a month or so without climate control in a metal container ( New York to Auckland) plus however long they sit on the dock. At Designer Direct we only use Air Freight. Costly but your nose will love you.

CLIMATE CONTROL

The cheaper the fragrance, the less of a bargain you’re getting, and the more likely it was stored with a lack of climate-controlled warehousing. Both our NZ stores where we ship orders from have climate control.
