The original OPIUM Eau de Toilette was launched in 1977 & was created by perfumers Raymond Chaillan, Jean Amic and Jean-Louis Sieuzac. The flaçon was by Pierre Dinand.
This is the Eau de Parfum release of the original fragrance.
In 2009, Opium is in a new flaçonby YSL Art Director Fabien Baron and Stefan Pilati. The new campaign features the red-headed, English supermodel, Karen Elson.
